The Southeast Valley Baseball Association (SVBA) provides boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 18 an opportunity to play in an organized baseball program. The SVBA program is affiliated with Wasatch Baseball.

Our Divisions are safe, fun and very instructional. No experience necessary! If your child has never played before or if your child is a "seasoned vet", baseball in Draper and Sandy, Utah has lots to offer.

Players Ages

The player's age on April 30 determines his or her age for the season. Players may only play up an age Division if a parent serves as a head coach or the main assistant coach.

Division Structure

Quickball
4-6 year olds
Quickball helps introduce core baseball concepts through a faster-paced game than traditional T-ball.  We attempt to group children with kids they already know. Games are typically played on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings.    
Smith Field
 

Machine Pitch
6-7 year olds
Machine Pitch, 50' Bases. We attempt to group children with kids they already know.
Games are played Monday - Friday.  We will look to schedule games M, W, F with T & Th as practice days and rain make-up days. We play 2 games per week.      
Draper Park Field 3 and Smith Field
 

PeeWee
7-8 year olds
Player Pitch, 44' pitching distance, 60' Bases. Players are drafted to a team.
Games are played Monday - Friday.  We will look to schedule games M, W, F with T & Th as practice days and rain make-up days. We play 2 games per week.      
Big Bear Park South Field
 

Minors
9-10 year olds
Player Pitch, 46' pitching distance, 60' Bases, No lead-off. Players are drafted.
Games are played Monday - Friday.  We will look to schedule games M, W, F with T & Th as practice days and rain make-up days. We play 2 games per week. 
Draper Park Field 1, Bell Canyon Park South Field, Big Bear Park North Field
 

Majors
11-12 year olds
Player Pitch, 50' pitching distance, 70' Bases, Lead-off permitted. Players are drafted. 
Games are played Monday - Friday.  We will look to schedule games M, W, F with T & Th as practice days and rain make-up days. We play 2 games per week.

13 year olds
Player Pitch, 54' pitching distance, 80' Bases, Lead-off permitted. Players are drafted. 
Games are played Monday - Friday and played against other Wasatch Baseball teams.  We play 2 games per week.

14-15 year olds
Player Pitch, 60'6" pitching distance, 90' Bases, Lead-off permitted. Players are drafted. 
Games are played Monday - Friday and played against other Wasatch Baseball teams. We play 2 games per week.

16-18 year olds
Player Pitch, 60'6"' pitching distance, 90' Bases, Lead-off permitted. SVBA Board and High School Division Coaches will select teams.  Teams play against other Wasatch Baseball teams.

INTACT
Southeast Valley will host intact teams that are approved through SVBA and register through Wasatch Baseball. A respective Southeast Valley field will be designated as Home Field. Intact teams hold their own tryouts and draft. They play other Wasatch Baseball teams.
